Subscription Advantage Pack
The Autodesk® Subscription Advantage Pack for AutoCAD® Architecture 2010 extends the capabilities of AutoCAD® Architecture 2010 software. New tools help speed the design and production of renovation projects, while improved functionality helps streamline existing workflows. This pack also includes Autodesk® ImageModeler™ 2009 software.

Renovation Extension 2010
Improve the speed of renovation project design and production with the Renovation Extension 2010. New renovation-specific tools help you create renovation plans with correct representation of existing, new, and demolition plans.

Capabilities include:

Renovation object categories—Assign objects to renovation categories that can be changed at any time.
Renovation, demolition, and revision plans—Create and modify plans based on current AutoCAD Architecture 2010 design assets.
Renovation drawing views—Switch between renovation, demolition, and revision plans with one master drawing to help avoid redundant data.
Renovation layer options—Specify if and how layer names change, depending on the renovation classification of their objects.
Select existing objects—Select existing, demolition, or new objects with a single command to more rapidly generate plans that reflect only necessary data.
Freeze walls—Interrupt project renovation to correct wall joins without being classified as renovation measures.
Productivity Extension 2010
Create custom columns and column grids, and place doors and windows with greater speed and precision using new functionality offered in the Productivity Extension 2010.

Capabilities include:

Column creation—Create user-defined columns with linework profiles using arcs, lines, circles, rectangles, ellipses, splines, and polylines.
Custom column grid creation and editing—Define and edit multiple properties of a custom column grid.
Door and window placement—Insert multiple doors and windows in relation to grids and walls.
Autodesk ImageModeler 2009
Use 2D digital photographs to more quickly create, edit, and texture 3D models for building renovation projects and energy-efficiency analysis. Bridging the 2D and 3D worlds via DWG™, Autodesk ImageModeler 2009 software enables you to:

Capture building design elements
Take measurements
Create 3D models based on the form of existing buildings
By leveraging models developed directly from the physical environment, ImageModeler 2009 helps architects better integrate improvements or renovations in their CAD projects

Ribbon Icons become Inactive
Issue
You edit a Mtext and the icons become disabled on the ribbon.

Solution
The ribbon becomes grayed out when the acad.cuix is loaded at the same time than the aca.cuix.
To enable the icons, unload the acad.cuix. Follow these steps:

Type MENULOAD at the command line.
1. In the Load/Unload Customizations dialog box, select ACAD in the list.
2. Click Unload.
3. Click Close to close the Load/Unload Customizations dialog box.
4. If you want to use ribbons, menus from the acad.cuix file, use the Transfer tab from the Customize User Interface (CUI).

New Features in AutoCAD Architecture 2011
Architectural Rennovation

The building renovation tools in AutoCAD Architecture software, enable the flexible and efficient planning and processing of renovation projects. Quickly and easily create 2D and 3D renovation plans with correct representation of existing, new, and demolition plans with new renovation-specific tools.

Productivity Enhancements

Work more efficiently with functionality that enables you to create column grids, more rapidly generate columns, and improve the placement of doors and windows to wall points or gridlines.

User Interface

AutoCAD Architecture now includes new dynamic grid and navigation tools, such as a view cube and steering wheel implemented in the 2D wireframe visual style.

Improved Wall & Layout Design

AutoCAD Architecture 2011 increases wall drafting productivity with intuitive tools that enable architects and designers to draw wall layouts that better reflect actual construction. Wall component boundaries now work with Fillet and Chamfer, and the new Intelligent Cleanup command allows you to perform roughly laid out wall cleanup with a single action. Component selection during wall cleanup editing has also been simplified.

Constraints

Apply precise, persistent geometric and dimensional positioning between walls, column grids, columns, beams, curtain walls, multiview blocks, and mass elements with new AutoCAD Architecture constraints.

Where has the MENUBAR gone?
We have been asked a few times were the ACA pull down menus & toolbars are in ACA2010. By design they are not there, in line with the enhanced ribbon.

However Autodesk have released the below file so as users can add them manually, if required. All the files required and the install process is described in the zip file:
